Our team here at Ponoka Family Chiropractic strives for correction, health, wellness, and vitality.

Here at PFC, we work with your nervous system by analyzing your spine for any areas of dysfunction, then provide gentle, specific Chiropractic adjustments to remove any nerve interference related to the brain-body connection. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that relieves tension within the structures and tissues surrounding the central nervous system promoting whole-body health and proper function. The Biodynamic approach focuses primarily on the organizing forces and fluid rhythms throughout the body.

The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord. It is referred to as ‘central’ because it integrates information from the entire body and coordinates activity across the entire organism; it has great influence over the body’s ability to function properly. Every day our body endures stressors that it consistently works to balance out, however sometimes our tissues tighten under the strain. Sometimes our body will hold patterns of tension from previous experiences. When there are tensions in the tissues around the central nervous system its ability to function optimally is restricted. CST helps to ease the environment around the central nervous system, supporting its natural rhythm and ability for self-repair. Healing comes from within the practice member, rather than from an outside source.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a therapy that focuses on the health in your system and facilitating the body to self repair. As the primary orientation is toward the client’s inherent health, deep and lasting transformation can occur. A foundation of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is that health is always present no matter the ailment. If the focus has been on illness, trauma or pain, a connection with a sense of health can be lost. BCST can help you reconnect to the health and vitality within.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is appropriate for a wide variety of individuals including pre- and postnatal women, newborns, young children, adults and the elderly. Individuals seek Craniosacral Therapy for many different symptoms including pain, fatigue, stress and related difficulties. Individuals are also interested in improving their overall physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
